Pego

Although on this days I have change my mind of idea of a perfect live style, I would say that I can not imagine to be growing up when I was child if is not in a town..

I can say that I´ve been growing up in a mediterranean culture which made me enjoy a proper freedom in my childhood.

I have had a intense relationship with the village around Pego that make he real live I´m saying possible. Unforgettable villages along all the valleys like "Vall the Gallinera" "Vall De Laguar".

Pego is in a valley facing the sea, to the north of Alicant province. The climate provides for an agricultural area specialised in the cultivation of citric fruit and rice.

Pego enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild pleasant winters.

Some typical local dishes include coconut shrimp with rice crust, rice with beans and turnips and paella with eel and duck.
